SV Mini-Phantom Tank Instructions
The SV mini-phantom tank is made of 2 parts, the clear chamber which holds the e-liquid, and the coil assembly which screws onto the chamber. The coil assembly contains a coil which heats up to vapourize the e-liquid, and a wick which absorbs the e-liquid, and brings it in contact with the coil.
To begin filling the tank, unscrew the coil from the chamber and put the coil aside. Hold the chamber on an angle with the larger opening up.
Drip the e-liquid into the chamber slowly, taking care not to allow any e-liquid to flow into the center pipe. If e-liquid does get into the center pipe, the chamber should be washed out with warm water. Then start the filling process again.
Tank is now full. Do not fill any more e-liquid, or it will get into the center pipe and will have to be washed out.
Now hold the tank straight and screw the coil back on. If there is a gap between the coil and the chamber (as shown), it has not been tightened fully.
Here the coil is properly connected to the chamber. It should feel snug when it is fully screwed in. Note that there is no more gap between the coil and the chamber.
Screw the assembled tank onto the SV battery
Before vaping, it is important to hold the tank upright and tap on it to remove any air bubbles. This allows the e-liquid to come in contact with the wick. If air bubbles are present on the wick, when you start vaping, the wick will burn and the tank may start to leak. The tank will then have to be discarded. Tank leak due to a burned wick is not covered under warranty.
Air bubble has gone up, tank is now ready to use.
Treat the e-cigarette like a regular cigarette and inhale normally. It is also important to hold the e-cigarette horizontally or at a slightly downward angle (as shown), to ensure the e-liquid remains in contact with the wick.
If the e-cigarette is held at an upward angle during vaping (as shown here), the liquid will flow away from the wick and the wick may burn. The e-liquid will then leak and the tank will have to be discarded. Tank leak due to a burned wick is not covered under warranty.
Do not let the e-liquid level run too low in the tank, or the wick may burn. The e-liquid will then leak and the tank will have to be discarded.
The tank is expected to last for about 5 – 10 fills before it will need to be discarded and replaced with a new one. For this reason we recommend purchasing 2 tanks at a time. This will ensure you are always ready to vape!
